Scheduling your messages with Actisona Queue couldn't get any easier. With Queue, you can add one or more messages to your connected social media profiles and they will be published automatically to published if Posting Schedules had been predefined for each selected profile.
In this article, we will explain how you can work with Actisona Queue and make the best out of it.
Note: By default, the queue will show a 7-day window at a time. Click on "See More" button at the end of each queue profile.
Defining Posting Schedules
Posting schedules are time slots that a user defines per profile on any day of the week.
- Click on the "Queue" menu item from the left-side navigation.
- Select the social media profile from the profiles listing.
- Click on
button on the top right side of the profiles listing.
- Scroll down to the "Posting Schedule" section and select desired day.
- Pick hour, minute, and meridiem (that is AM/PM) from dropdowns and click on the "Add time" button.
Configuring Profile Time Zone
It's important to define a time zone for your connected social media profiles, it ensures all of your messages are published to your audience at the right time.
To configure a time zone:
- Click on the "Profiles" menu item from the left-side navigation.
- Click on the button on the right side of the selected profile.
- Scroll to the "Profile Timezone" section and select your timezone from the dropdown menu list.
- Click on the "Save" button.
Composing Message
After your profile queue is set up, you're now ready to start composing queued messages.
- Click on the "Queue" menu item from the left-side navigation.
- Select desired social media profile.
- Click on the desired time slot
and start composing
Note: Please ensure that profile schedules are already defined per profile.
The enqueued message will be added to the first available time slot. In case you composed an enqueued message without configuring Posting Schedules, you will receive an in-app notification about this event.
Disabling Queue
In case you wish to temporarily disable profiles queues due to external events, you will need to:
- Click on the "Queue" menu item in the left-side navigation.
- Click the
button that corresponds to the desired profile.
- Scroll to "Queue Status" and switch it off.
Note: Once a profile queue is disabled, all enqueued messages will be immediately purged.
